dear zhenyu: the tourist areas of washington dc are fairly safe….but…= .elsewhere it is not … the crime rate is very high,if you leave your hote= ll at night make sure you are safe, check with hotel reception desk about s= afe area for internet cafes..if you are in philadelphia or newyork the sam= e advise applies.
