Re: [glosalist] Re: glisa new from myaleee

David ("David" <daveyporter@...>) on October 28, 2010

Dear Dr Mohamed Ali, I am retired - was born in and live in England, have two sons and a daughter I like walking, cycling, table tennis, travelling, reading, discussing politics, gardening - and of course Glosa together with the idea of an auxiliary language being accepted as an international means of communication. Now, however, I am a full time carer for my lovely wife who was diagnosed as having Alzheimer’s Disease last year - such is the life. Wishing you well, Davidjp

dear daveyporter good day thanks for encouragement. I was crazy in love with idea “isolating”, also used in chinese. But hoping others will join me, I made it for my pleasure and satisfaction! What are your work, country, family, and hobbies, please?

Hello Dr Mohamed Ali, I write to congratulate you on the work you have done to improve Glosa. I think that Glosa is the best of the “artificial” languages but I have also been critical of certain features of the language - and at a quick glance it would seem that you have satisfactorily dealt with many - if not all - of my particular criticisms. Unfortunately I am no grammarian and so cannot be a serious critic of your work - besides which my life has become extremely difficult for me of late and allows me little time to devote to my hobbies (of which Glosa is one). I intend to read and re-read your work during the coming weeks however and so obtain a good understanding of what you propose. I sincerely hope that other Glosa-pe will do the same and that the outcome will be a major improvement of Glosa. With regards…….Davidjp.

Pardona, plu karo glosa-pe! Mi amo forte glosa(isolating) sed un uti verba in poli funktio es fo mali! mi pa face glisa”

  • ’'’Glisa’’’ is improved “glosa”,which is clearer, with freedom in order of words, and more exact and simple! It is created by me, Dr Mohamed Ali, 60 years old iraqi pediatrician [[User:Myaleee]], email myalee@… Octobre 2010, because like chinese, the ideas of “isolating” and simplicity fascinated me so much!

*I made arbitrary changes to words to make them easily recognisible, and understandable! Words from Latin are prefered to Greek ones, bela is prettier than kali (whole words like ‘'’komputero’’’ is more international than “putame” (thinking machine ) of glosa, no?)

  • Many suffixes are removed (ma,li,do,ka etc) and others are added like “rita “ worthy of etc!
