My Suffixes are Better than Yours :-)
shearzar ("shearzar" <ken.scherer@...>) on November 23, 2008
I like your suffixes, but mine are better :-)
Your changing …
“ul-a e= s u mega grega de plu vavi mu du alti tako ciklo” to -
“ula iksi es onu m= ega musi grega osi de plu avi oplu, mu da alti nonu tako monu ciklo unu”, = and then to -
“u-laiksi esonu u megamusi gregaosi de plu avioplu….”, is = sinfully agglutinating. :-)
I prefer to simply say, -
“U-la es u mega= -grega de vavi-plu ciklo-du tako!” [That is a large group of birds circling= quick!]
Anyone reading or hearing my sentence would correctly understand = that the birds are flying.
Concerning the sentence sample you provided:
My use of existing (unaltered) Glosa words as hyphenated suffixes to crea= te verbs (1) requires no creation and learning of new words, (2) adheres t= o Glosa’s isolating spirit, (3) reduced the word, syllable, and character = count, and (4) was simple and fun.
