Hi! You can download the dictd-files there:

‘vicerveza.homeunix.net’ is also a dict-server, which you can use with your favourite dict-client. http://vicerveza.homeunix.net/~viric/dict/download/glen-dictd.tar.gz

Of course, you can start a dictd server in your glosa.org, if you want.

I didn’t write any program… ‘dictd’ works fine with unicode, and it doesn’t process any html entities or html code. (Try to search ‘ward’)

dictd and the dict protocol are well known, and you may get more info in “www.dict.org” or in google. :)

Bye!

Karo Llus,

Welcome on Glosalist! And …

Anyway, I’ve done a dictd-version of the dictionary glosa-english. You can search in it using the web interface: http://vicerveza.homeunix.net/~viric//cgi-bin/Dict There select the “glosa-english” dictionary.

thanks for your programming work.

ees I would like to know:

  • Where are your dictionary files (URL?) or how do they look?
  • Do they have to be on your server or could they be somewhere else (e.g. some on glosa.org)?
  • Would your program be crashed by HTML-tags like ä and í instead of and ?

Fine that you want to keep on with Glosa. As you have seen, our language needs a bit more manpower.

Saluta - Marcel
